I was standing in this ugly little garden in the south of France. It was like I was completely still, and everything was humming and in motion around me, but humming on different frequencies. The air was humming, the light was humming, that interested me. If happy can be defined as a kind of still bewilderment, with awe, yes, [I was happy] but alone, totally alone.
