Desk features one drawer concealing a pen tray. Carved signature and date to leg of desk and underside of chair ‘W. Castle 80’. Carved inscription to underside of desk ‘Made by S. Proctor and W. Castle’. These works are unique and are registered with the artist's studio as number 429.
