The Ceramic Art of Wayne Higby

Wayne Higby, an accomplished ceramist, longtime professor at the NYS College of Ceramics at Alfred University, and director of Alfred’s Schein-Joseph International Museum of Ceramic Art, has been working with clay since the 1960s. In this interview, filmed for a retrospective exhibition of his work in 2015 at the University of Rochester, he discusses the impetus behind his creations.
