Elegant and historic, the Willard Building (1850) incorporates a luxury hotel and office suites at 1455 Pennsylvania Avenue, in the heart of Washington, DC. Paley designed the sculpture and door handles for the office section, which were cast at the Polich Tallix foundry, Walden, NY.
Incised number to verso ‘7’ and ‘8’, respectively. These works are numbers 7 and 8 from the edition of 8 and are registered in the Paley Studio Archives as #AM 1985 01b.
