Paul Planert was an interior designer in Pittsburgh who promoted George Nakashima's furniture and ordered pieces for countless public and private commissions, including Carnegie Mellon University and Saint Mary College.
Table features an impressive single slab top with sap grain detail, three knots, reticulation to one corner bridged by one large rosewood butterfly, and rare base construction. Sold with a digital copy of the original order card.
