Vintage Swatch Jellyfish
In its comparatively short life in terms of horological history, Swatch has become more than just a watch – it is an institution. The company revived the spirit of the Swiss watch industry at a time when it was at a very low ebb. Swatch has been honored by international organizations and its models are collected by hundreds of thousands of fans.
In 1985, Swatch released what is probably their best known watch: the skeleton swatch Jellyfish. The Swatch Jellyfish is an incredibly fun watch with an entirely clear resin case and strap lead to a watch that, for all intents and purposes, looks more like a movement and hands floating on your wrist than like a watch. Its restrained case size and integrated strap make for a truly compact and easy wearing experience, enhanced only by the light weight of the case material. This classic Jellyfish is a perfect summer watch with just the right touch of 1990s nostalgia.
