Created by Yaacov Agam as an innovative technique within the field of kinetic art, his Agamographs present the viewer with a holographic image through the layering of multiple images, one on top of another. The process, called lenticular printing, creates an illusion of movement and depth, which when paired with Agam’s use of vivid colors, makes for a dynamic experience that shifts between multiple compositions.
My intention was to create a work of art which would transcend the visible, which cannot be perceived except in stages.
