Condition Report

"News" screenprint missing from portfolio. Generally good condition. There is some foxing to interior of portfolio case and to the cover sheet. Appearance of the prints are consistent with the nature of the materials used in the process. Mews: Slight crimp to upper left corner of sheet with some green discoloration to surface. A minor area of gray discoloration in lower margin (Ingredients in printing materials: background printed with Bolognese sauce and split fount for lettering printed in black currant pie filling , over cherry pie filling, over mixed raw egg) Pews: Slight crimp to upper left corner of sheet. Some faint surface soiling in margins. (Ingredients in printing materials: background printed with Hershey's chocolate flavored syrup, Camp coffee and chicory essence mixed 6/4; and squid in ink) Brews: Slight crimp to upper left corner of sheet. Some extraneous ink (?) at left of 'B'. Faint brown discoloration at lower left corner near signature, which may be residue transfer from printed surface. (Ingredients in printing materials: split fount lettering printed with axle grease over caviar) Stews: Appears to be in good overall condition. (Ingredients in printing materials: split fount lettering printed with crushed baked beans, caviar, fresh strawberries, cherry pie filling, mango chutney, tomato paste, daffodils, tulips and leaves)
