Pair of door handles for The Willard Building (Washington D.C.), Rochester, NY, 1985; Cast bronze; Incised 5 and 6; 17 1/2" x 9 1/2" x 3" ea.; Elegant and historic, the Willard Building (1850) incorporates a luxury hotel and office suites at 1455 Pennsylvania Avenue, in the heart of Washington, DC. Paley designed the sculpture and door handles for the office section, which were cast at the Polich Tallix foundry, Walden, NY.; Exhibited: Albert Paley: Sculpture, Drawings, Graphics, & Decorative Arts, Florida State University Museum of Fine Art, Tallahassee, FL (traveling exhibition 2001 - 2003)
