Ca. 1999. 16". 67.7 dwt. Accompanied by GIA Report #2135466013, Dated 3 June 2017, Oval, Brilliant Step Cut, Transparent Red Natural Corundum Ruby, 8.90 x 7.10 x 5.65 mm, Burma (Myanmar), Indications of Heating. Comments: The 13th red stone from tongue end clasp was selected for testing. The residues referred to in the TE scale below (GIA heating scale) are those trapped within fissures that have been healed during a flux-assisted heating process. The higher the TE value the greater the extent of healed fissures. Any statement on geographic origin is an expert opinion based on a collection of observations and analytical data.
