David Rago Co-Director, Specialist
David Rago began dealing in American decorative ceramics at the age of sixteen, at a flea market in his home state of New Jersey. Today, with partners Suzanne Perrault and Miriam Tucker, he oversees the auction house that bears his name, sells privately in the field of 20th/21st C. Design, lectures nationally and appears as an expert appraiser for the PBS series, Antiques Roadshow, where he specializes in decorative ceramics and porcelain.
Suzanne Perrault Co-Director, Specialist
Suzanne Perrault heads cataloguing at Rago Arts and Auction Center and co-directs its department of 20th/21st C. Design. She and David Rago are also private dealers of 20th/21st C. Design, receiving clients by appointment. She is an author who lectures nationally and an expert appraiser for the hit PBS series, Antiques Roadshow, where she specializes in decorative ceramics and porcelain.
Jad Attal Specialist
Jad Attal is a specialist in 20th/21st C. Design. An architect by training, he chose instead to make design his life’s work. Buying and selling nationally, he acquired a connoisseur’s knowledge of the artists and craftsmen of Modern design and an entrepreneur’s acumen in the market. Invited to join Rago in 2008, he has been instrumental in the growth and success of his department, where he has brought scores of record-breaking lots to market.
Sarah Dziamba Specialist
Sarah began her career at Rago after earning a Bachelor’s in Art History at Rutgers University and a Master’s in Italian Renaissance Art History from Syracuse University’s Florence Program. She joined the 20th/21st C. Design department in 2012, and has been cataloging property and honing her research skills ever since. Once a devotee of Michelangelo and Brunelleschi, she has developed a deep appreciation for, and broad knowledge of, early to mid-century and contemporary craft and design.
