architecture and furnishings. Mr. Stoller was commissioned to take
pictures of Naskashima's work starting in 1949, and in that way amassed a

The following three lots represent works by Cleveland-born artist
LAURENCE B. FIELD, an accomplished painter and graphic artist perhaps
best-known for his scenic depictions of Colorado landscapes. While his
early training included studies at the Cleveland School of Art and the
Kunstgewerbeschule in Vienna, Austria, it was under the tutelage of
Boardman Robinson at The Broadmoor Art Academy in Colorado Springs, from
1933-39, that Field came into his own as a masterful landscape painter.
His work has been exhibited nationally and graces the permanent
collections of several Colorado museums, as well as that of the Cleveland
Museum of Art. These pieces have descended through the artist's family:
