David Rago

At the age of sixteen, David Rago began dealing in American decorative ceramics at a flea market in his home state of New Jersey. Today, he oversees the auction house that bears his name, publishes two quarterly magazines on 20th c. design and sells privately in the field. He is an author who lectures nationally and an expert appraiser for the hit PBS series, Antiques Roadshow, where he specializes in decorative ceramics and porcelain.

Suzanne Perrault

Suzanne Perrault heads the Rago Arts and Auction Center’s Cataloguing Department and co-directs its sales of 20th//21st Century Design. She and partner David Rago are also private dealers, appearing at antique shows nationally and receiving clients by appointment. She is an author who lectures nationally and an expert appraiser for the hit PBS series, Antiques Roadshow, where she specializes in decorative ceramics and porcelain.

Miriam Tucker

Miriam Tucker is the partner-in-charge of the Estates and Fine Art departments, as well as Estate and Appraisal Services. She is a qualified appraiser and member of the Appraisers Association of America with a M.Ed. in arts education and a M.B.A. from Columbia University.

Meredith Hilferty

Meredith Hilferty heads the Fine Art department. She began her career at Jeffrey Fuller Fine Art, Ltd. in Philadelphia at the age of nineteen and was made Assistant Director when only twenty-three. Ms. Hilferty's skills first came to the attention of the partners at Rago's in April 2004 during the sale of the Brutten Herrick Collection.

Thomas Martin

Thomas Martin heads the Estate Auction department. A dealer and auctioneer with over 30 years in the business of antiques, since joining Rago's in 2007, Mr. Martin, a superb generalist, has developed a department that encompasses a broad range of property. In addition to 18th and 19th C. furnishings and decorative art and Americana, he handles sales of Asian art, historical ephemera, pop culture, musical instruments, stamps and coins.

Sarah Churgin heads the Jewelry and Silver department. She is an expert in fine and antique jewelry, silver and accessories. A longtime dealer with wide-ranging knowledge in her field, she has been with Rago's since 2001, responsible for millions in auction sales and records in a number of categories.

Jerry Cohen, the specialist in charge of Arts and Crafts furniture at Rago’s, has been buying and selling Arts & Crafts since 1978, when he opened The Mission Oak Shop in Oakland, California.

Christopher Wise

Christopher Wise, a valued member of Rago’s Estate Department since 2006, handles coins and currency, militaria, antique firearms and ephemera. Mr. Wise has been a collector of coins since childhood. He began buying and selling antique tools in his early 20s, and, thereafter, coins, currency, firearms, ephemera and silver.

Michael Ingham

Michael Ingham is the Chief Operating Officer at Rago’s and the Director of its Discovery Auctions. Michael came to Rago’s in 1998 with a background in stagecraft, having worked as a set designer in Philadelphia and New Jersey and as technical director and foreman for the Long Wharf Theater in Connecticut, Philadelphia’s Wilma Theater and the Philadelphia Flower Show, among others.

Sebastian Clarke

Sebastian Clarke directs Estate Services at Rago and serves as a Specialist in Fine Furniture and Decorative Arts. He hails from a family of British art experts, including both his parents. Arriving in the U.S. in 1995, Mr. Clarke worked as an apprentice restorer and art handler for Simon Parkes Art Conservation. He began his career in auctions at C.G. Sloane, served as a Specialist in the European Furniture department at Sotheby’s, as Director of the English and Continental furniture department at Freeman’s and at Doyle New York as a Senior Vice-President and Director of the English and Continental Furniture and Decorations department.
