Collectors’ Seminar: Collecting American Studio Craft and Furniture

On Sunday, April 7, David Rago joins a panel of artists and specialists from the region’s studios and galleries for a seminar exploring the ongoing interest in collecting American Studio Furniture. Joining him on the panel will be Robert Aibel, Founder and Co-Director of Moderne Gallery in Philadelphia, PA; Miriam Carpenter, artist and designer from New Hope, PA; Mira Nakashima Yarnall, Creative Director of George Nakashima Woodworkers in New Hope, PA; and artist and designer Mark Sfirri. The seminar will be moderated by Kathleen Jameson, Executive Director of the Michener Art Museum.

This program is organized in support of the exhibition, Nakashima Looks: Studio Furniture at the Michener. Seminar is $20 for member, $25 for non-member and $10 for students with valid ID. Price includes Museum admission
