Rago Arts and Auction Center welcomed spring with a series of auctions on April 14-17. This 4-day auction series featured 1000s of works from our Great Estates, Coins and Currency, Fine Jewelry and Unreserved departments including fine art, pottery, prints and lithographs, art glass, antique and contemporary furniture and home décor, rare coins, fine and antique jewelry, textiles and tribal. In total, 2,567 lots crossed the auction block, bringing in $3,084,004 in sales. You’ll find top lots from the auctions listed below.
Lot 249, an oil painting from the Circle of Cornelis Van Haarlem from the 16th/17th century titled Venus, Cupid and Ceres, sold for $162,500 against an estimate of $12,000-18,000.

Coins and Currency
Lot 700, an exceptionally rare 1776 Pewter Continental Dollar from the single owner collection of Andrew “Ko Ko” Koltko, PCGS rated at XF45, was the top selling lot in this auction at $51,213.

Lot 2500, a diamond and platinum necklace designed by Marianne Ostier and sporting 197 fine pear shaped, marquis and emerald cut diamonds that sold for $46,875 against an estimate of $30,000-50,000.
