Small sculpture, edition of 22, Rochester, NY, 1997; Forged and fabricated steel with a blackened finish, wood; No visible markings; 4" x 16 1/2" x 16"; Provenance: Family of Professor Herman S. Gundersheimer, Paley's art history teacher at Tyler School of Fine Arts of Temple University. Originally commissioned by the Victoria & Albert Museum in London as gifts to the benefactors upon the opening of the museum's metals gallery.
