ARCHIBALD KNOX (1864 - 1933); LIBERTY & CO.

Rare Cymric "The Magnus" clock, England, 1903; Sterling silver, enamel; Stamped CYMRIC/L & CO./5024 with city and date marks, clock face inscribed TEMPUS FUGIT [Time Flies]; 6 1/8" x 3 1/2" x 2 5/8"; Knox named some of his best Cymric designs after Scottish historical figures. This one is a nod to King Magnús Óláfsson who conquered the Isle of Mann in 1252.
