Condition Report

Originally designed by Chareau for the set of Marcel L'Herbier's film "L'inhumaine" in 1923, this sofa was later one of most distinctive pieces in ChareauÕs masterpiece the Maison de Verre built in Paris from 1923-1928. ItÕs corresponding chair is lot 1207. Light scuffs, minor stains evenly throughout. Upholstery and padding is soft. Good overall condition.
