PIUS LANG 100 BLADE EXHIBITION KNIFE, EARLY 20TH C.
A horseman's steel folding knife. Single piece mother of pearl scales within scalloped edging, equipped with 96 hand forged blades and implements and four pull-outs. Germany, first half 20th c. No marks or serial number noted. Master blade 3 3/4", hoof scraper 3 7/8". Note: The Exhibition knife was introduced at the Paris World Exposition, 1889. Provenance: From the Estate of the last owner of J. Wiss & Sons Jewelers, Newark.
