All carnelians appear to be original and are in good condition, one is slightly more orange than the others. All enamel is intact and in good condition. Uppermost level: minor crack/wear and associated old repair to one corner of lid, patina and hinges are original and in good condition. Missing one set screw on interior of lid. Middle level: one tiny pin-hole to silver in one corner, a few minor areas of lifting to corners, lock cover is missing. Lower level: one very small area has remnants of paint transfer, small repairs to two feet, small lead repair to front medallion directly below horse (about 1/4"). Some very minor seam separations to wood elements near base. Three decorative dragon-head elements on handles were professionally replaced. Complete with two keys (one key missing its bit). Locking mechanism on middle level functions but does not remain locked.
